• Why are The Arlington’s Estate Homes special?

  The Arling­ton is the ONLY Life Plan Com­mu­ni­ty (CCRC) in South­west Flori­da that offers detached lux­u­ry Estate Homes. Built by pre­mier lux­u­ry builder STOCK Sig­na­ture Homes, our Estate Homes are offered in three dis­tinc­tive floor plans from 1,806 to 3,031 square feet and include two-car garages and pri­vate lanais.

• What is a Life Plan Community?

  A Life Plan Com­mu­ni­ty (for­mer­ly referred to as a Con­tin­u­ing Care Retire­ment Com­mu­ni­ty (CCRC)) is a res­i­den­tial com­mu­ni­ty for old­er adults (typ­i­cal­ly age 62 and old­er) that pro­vides a vari­ety of hous­ing options, along with ser­vices, ameni­ties and a con­tin­u­um of care designed to address the chang­ing needs of res­i­dents as they age. The typ­i­cal Life Plan Com­mu­ni­ty offers not only Inde­pen­dent Liv­ing options, but also Assist­ed Liv­ing, Skilled Nurs­ing, Short-Term Reha­bil­i­ta­tion and Mem­o­ry Care ser­vices on a sin­gle campus.

• What are the advan­tages of choos­ing a Life Plan Community?

  A Life Plan Com­mu­ni­ty such as The Arling­ton, gives res­i­dents con­fi­dence and peace of mind know­ing they have made a secure plan for their future, includ­ing a proac­tive plan for the unknowns and ​“what ifs.” The Arling­ton res­i­dents have the advan­tage of set­ting their own life’s plan, rather than bur­den­ing fam­i­ly with many health­care deci­sions as they age. Anoth­er advan­tage is being able to remain in the same com­mu­ni­ty as needs change. This alle­vi­ates stress and enables res­i­dents to main­tain exist­ing rela­tion­ships in a famil­iar envi­ron­ment. It also enables cou­ples to remain close to each oth­er, even if one per­son requires a high­er lev­el of care.
  

• What ser­vices and ameni­ties are avail­able at The Arlington?

  The Arling­ton offers lux­u­ry resort retire­ment liv­ing on a 39-acre cam­pus. The com­mu­ni­ty and lifestyle is thought­ful­ly designed to pro­mote well­ness. Pro­gram­ming includes var­i­ous activ­i­ties to enhance phys­i­cal, intel­lec­tu­al and spir­i­tu­al well­ness. With­in The Prom­e­nade, there is a state-of-the-art fit­ness cen­ter, an indoor pool and spa, an arts stu­dio, and the Cul­tur­al Arts Cen­ter. Oth­er ameni­ties, includ­ing a cin­e­ma, library, bou­tique spa and salon, meet­ing rooms and class­rooms — and more — are designed to make every­day life more con­ve­nient. Around the cam­pus, res­i­dents enjoy lush grounds and land­scap­ing, walk­ing trails and out­door ter­races. There is a club­house with an out­door pool. Park­ing under the main build­ing pro­vides con­ve­nience and pro­tec­tion from the elements.
  

• What ser­vices and ameni­ties are part of my residence?

  The Arling­ton pro­vides a wide range of choic­es in size and floor plans, We offer two- and three-bed­room, sin­gle-fam­i­ly Estate Homes rang­ing from 1,806 to 3,031 square feet and one- to three-bed­room, con­do-styles apart­ments rang­ing from 854 to 2,082 square feet. No mat­ter your choice, all res­i­dences are ful­ly main­te­­nance-free with util­i­ties and week­ly house­keep­ing includ­ed. Also includ­ed are all real estate prop­er­ty tax­es and build­ing insurance.

• Food is impor­tant, what can I expect?

  The Arling­ton offers many din­ing choic­es from gourmet fine din­ing at the Exhi­bi­tion Restau­rant, Bistro 7900 for more casu­al fare, a pop­u­lar Pub and a pri­vate din­ing room for more inti­mate din­ing occa­sions. In addi­tion, The Prom­e­nade’s Plaza Ter­races pro­vide a pleas­ant out­door envi­ron­ment in which to enjoy a meal or a cup of cof­fee with friends.
  

• What secu­ri­ty mea­sures are in place?

  The Arling­ton is a gat­ed com­mu­ni­ty with 24-hour secu­ri­ty per­son­nel. In addi­tion, there is an emer­gency response sys­tem locat­ed in each res­i­dence. The Arling­ton is con­struct­ed to con­form to build­ing codes for hur­ri­cane resis­tance, and the com­mu­ni­ty has a detailed hur­ri­cane plan.
  

• What does The Arling­ton’s loca­tion in Lely Resort mean for me?

  The Arling­ton is con­ve­nient­ly locat­ed in the acclaimed Lely Resort, just 15 min­utes from both Down­town Naples and Mar­co Island. It is around the cor­ner from the new, state-of-the-art Physi­cians’ Region­al Med­ical Cen­ter and across the street from Col­lier Coun­ty’s South Region­al Library and Flori­da South­west­ern State Col­lege. Sched­uled trans­porta­tion to Naples and Mar­co Island is available.

• What lev­els of health­care are offered on campus?

  Oak­ton Place Health­care Cen­ter at The Arling­ton offers a true con­tin­u­um of care: Assist­ed Liv­ing in one- and two-bed­­room res­i­dences; Skilled Nurs­ing in pri­vate suites arranged in a neigh­bor­hood set­ting; and Heart­felt Con­nec­tions – A Mem­o­ry Care Pro­gram® based on a nation­al­ly rec­og­nized mem­o­ry care mod­el – in pri­vate accom­mo­da­tions. In addi­tion, short-term reha­bil­i­ta­tion ser­vices are pro­vid­ed to aid res­i­dents in a return to well­ness fol­low­ing an injury, ill­ness or surgery. Hav­ing all these lev­els of care avail­able on one cam­pus also enables cou­ples to stay close to each oth­er when one has a health­care need. Assist­ed Liv­ing and Heart­felt Con­nec­tions – A Mem­o­ry Care Pro­gram® also wel­come those from the greater Naples community.

• What finan­cial plans are available?

  The Arling­ton offers sev­er­al afford­able options to help each res­i­dent meet his or her indi­vid­ual finan­cial pref­er­ences. You may select from three plans pro­vid­ing an 80% refund, 50% refund, or a ful­ly amor­tiz­ing sched­ule. • How does the cam­pus med­ical clin­ic work?

  The med­ical clin­ic, locat­ed at the end of The Prom­e­nade, offers stan­dard oper­at­ing hours typ­i­cal to area doc­tors’ offices. Appoint­ments may be sched­uled with­in those hours. In addi­tion, res­i­dents can be dri­ven to their reg­u­lar doc­tors’ offices.
