The Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) recently presented The Arlington with a special award in appreciation for housing emergency personnel during Hurricane Ian.

Even before the Category 4 hurricane made landfall, The Arlington opened its doors to over 50 Collier County Sheriff Office (CCSO) officers, 911 dispatchers and other first responders working out of the nearby Collier County Emergency Management facility. The Arlington was chosen not only because of its proximity, but also because our buildings are designed from the ground up for hurricane resistance.

Through the storm and for weeks afterwards, emergency personnel were able to rest comfortably in unoccupied Estate Homes following long and grueling shifts.

We’re honored to have played a role in supporting our courageous first responders.
